This ACE Micromatic VMC has been running in a Chennai-based defence sub-contractor facility since 2016. It was used for machining aluminium structural components and mild steel fixtures. The machine has around 18,000 hours on the controller but has been consistently maintained — annual geometry checks were done by ACE engineers and the records are intact.

The spindle was serviced and bearings replaced in 2021. The machine is geometrically sound and produces parts within drawing tolerances. Minor cosmetic wear (paint, chip tray) is visible due to age but does not affect performance. Electrical panel is clean and all axis drives are original.

Ideal for a small job shop or a training/prototype facility that needs a capable, reliable VMC at a budget price.
Reason for selling: Chennai plant is being upgraded with 5-axis machines; this 3-axis unit has been retired from production.
