AskCNC.in is an online marketplace and classifieds platform that connects buyers and sellers of CNC machines, spare parts, tools, accessories, repair and maintenance services, and other related products and services (“Listings”). AskCNC.in is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and only provides a venue for Users to list, discover, and communicate with one another. We are not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a seller.

3. Eligibility

You may use the Platform only if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age and competent to enter into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872;
  • Are using the Platform for a lawful purpose; and
  • Have not been previously suspended or removed from the Platform.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. User Accounts

  • To post Listings or access certain features, you must register and create an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that contains false information or is used in breach of these Terms.

5. Listings and Content

  • Sellers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality, and content of their Listings.
  • You must own or have the rights to sell any item you list.
  • Listings must comply with our Listing Policy and Prohibited Items rules (see the Seller / Advertiser Terms).
  • We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any Listing, product, service, seller, or buyer, and we make no representation as to the condition, authenticity, or legality of any item listed.
  • We reserve the right, but are not obliged, to review, edit, refuse, or remove any Listing at our sole discretion.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content;
  • List prohibited, counterfeit, stolen, or hazardous items;
  • Infringe any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
  • Use the Platform to transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems;
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without our written permission;
  • Use the Platform for money laundering, or any illegal or fraudulent activity;
  • Circumvent any fees, security, or access-control measures.

7. Transactions Between Users

  • All transactions, negotiations, payments, deliveries, inspections, warranties, and after-sales matters are strictly between the buyer and the seller.
  • AskCNC.in does not handle payments, escrow, shipping, or fulfilment unless expressly stated for a specific feature.
  • We are not responsible for any loss, damage, fraud, non-delivery, defective goods, or dispute arising from any transaction.
  • Users are advised to verify the identity of the other party, inspect goods, and exercise due diligence before making any payment or commitment.

8. Paid Services and Membership Plans

  • We may offer paid services such as featured listings, membership plans, promotions, and advertising packages.
  • Fees, features, and durations are described at the point of purchase and may be revised from time to time.
  • All payments are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The Platform, including its design, logo, “AskCNC” name, software, text, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
  • By posting content on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and promote that content for the operation and marketing of the Platform.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Accessing them is at your own risk.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AskCNC.in and its owners, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or any transaction conducted through it. Our total aggregate liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount of fees (if any) actually paid by you to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AskCNC.in and its owners, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your Listings, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in unlawful or fraudulent activity, or for any reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

We may revise these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
